All too often, Crisis Plans are written and never tested and it can be a daunting prospect for the staff who would be on call in the event of a major incident. We provide interactive workshops to test your crisis plans, talk through your safety procedures and prepare senior staff who are ‘on call’ how to react in the event of an crisis which could have a negative impact on the reputation of your organisation.

This workshop is sutiable for schools, charities or other organisations and provides a way to develop your systems and increase your confidence in how you manage safety and how you would handle a major incident.

Workshop structure:

1.  Safety and Risk Overview

  • Current Guidance and Resources (inc. BS:8848:2014, OEAP);

  • Crisis Management – best practice set up and structure;

  • Learning from recent incidents - examples;

  • Dealing with the media;

  • Your policies. 

2. Medium-level Incident Scenarios (On-Site and Off-site)

  • Practical session talking through how your staff team would deal with a selection of medium level incidents designed around your particular organisation.

3. Serious Incident Management (included in the 3 hour session)

  • Serious Incident – Live role-play scenario.
